Proof Of Concept

A Proof of Concept concretise an idea, generally a product or a feature, with a prototype to assess its feasibility or viability.

It is not supposed to be an early version (e.g. alpha, beta) of a product – but it can evolve into one, if the foundations of the PoC appear to be the same as decided for the real product
