LATCH

The LATCH principle is a mnemotechnic to organise information.

• Location – Geographic and spacial related. Can be cities, but also parts (e.g. human body)
• Alphabet – Best used with huge amount of data
• Time – Schedules, calendar, timeline
• Category – Organize items of similar importance. Can be subjective
• Hierarchy – Weighted value: small to large, cheap to expensive, etc.
